To some people, it is the time to plan a perfect and romantic date especially on V-Day night. You can use this day for a first or second date while you celebrate and rekindle your relationship. Most couples usually request or do the same thing they did during their first date. They order same food, same songs, drinks and may even dress up the same as their very first encounter.

For others, the Valentine’s Day is a day to exchange gifts. They offer gifts of candy and sweet treats or flowers to their loved ones. It provides an opportunity for love birds to pamper each other with love. They plan their Valentine’s day in such a way that they will spend the whole day in each others company. They will normally visit restaurants, parks, malls or even nightclubs but Covid has changed things for everyone.

When we think of Valentine’s Day, we think of love and sharing. It is a day to share and care for friends, loved ones, and enemies according to Christians. Spending big sums of money to them is not a reason for the celebration. Love and caring for your brethren is at the height of the Christian activities on that day.

It should be noted that love is worth celebrating daily. Valentine’s Day should not be the only day we celebrate love and care for each other. The day should not only be devoted to those you are close to or those you love. Love and care should be part of everything we do, both now and forever.
