It is getting to the end of year when people think of how the entire year has been. It’s a time when we think of what we’ve accomplished and what we didn’t. This is important as it sets a baseline on how we will tackle the coming year.

How we achieve what we’ve planned for depends on what we believe in. Remember this: If you want to have a fulfilling life, there is just one thing you have to keep in mind – believe in what you do.

This may look trivial, but it will make a great difference in your life if you try not to overlook it. It’s easy to set goals, put up a plan and make resolutions. Yet we still do not achieve the set goals. It is not that we are lazy or not ambitious enough. It could be the lack or absence of believing in what we do that may have kept us from achieving our goals.

Believing in what you do gives you a reason to start. Starting has never been easy. There is that feeling of inactivity which may come along with procrastination, but when you do overcome it, things can pick up easier. This feeling of inactivity can be resolved by your belief. If you love and believe in what you do, then you’ll be more likely to take action.

If you believe in what you do, you will need no one’s approval to do it. The people around us influence our day-to-day activities. Everyone will want it done their way and at the end, the pressure becomes overwhelming that we give up. For you to believe in what you do, you don’t need someone else’s  approval to continue doing it.

In difficult times, you can find solace in what you strongly believe in. In such periods, you need a reason to keep on moving. Your belief is what gives you the reason to move on. If you do have it, you go on with life no matter whatever is holding you down.

If you believe in what you do, distractions will be farfetched. When I started this blog, I had the feeling I was writing and reading to myself, but then I kept on writing without being distracted. Now, I have every reason to write because more and more people are keen and eagerly waiting for my next post. It’s such a fantastic feeling and that alone keeps me going. 

If you believe in what you do, money will not be the reason for you to do it. This project is already a year old and I have made no money from what I am doing but I so love and enjoy every minute I get to interact with a reader regarding either a post on Facebook or Twitter etc. I believe in uplifting and inspiring people.

When you believe in something, you get excited about it. I am excited with the work I am doing. I feel more excited when my audience response positively. This means my work is touching their lives. Once you believe in something, you become excited about it.

If you believe in what you do, then it means it comes from your heart. If you find it hard to believe in what you do, don’t get overwhelmed. Just have it in mind that you are strong and one day, your dreams will come to fruition.
