Are You Ready To Achieve Success?
Everyone I know with myself inclusive wants to be successful in something. The big question is how can one become successful? To achieve success, you have to give up something and in return, you get something. If you are not ready to give up something, then it might be difficult for you to achieve something.
For you to be successful, you will have to live the life others won’t want to. It is just the same like achieving the things that other people cannot achieve. Those who achieve more spend their energy on the things that most of us won’t want to do. What they sacrifice on a daily basis will determine how their future will look like.
How you use your time matters a lot if you really want to achieve success in whatever you do. For example what will you do with 2 hours of free time everyday? Some will take an excuse that they will rest – is that laziness? Some others will use it productively and may end up to become very high achievers.
Just imagine you have 2 hours free every working day and all you can do with it is to rest. That means you spend 10 hours of your free time every week to rest, taking into consideration that you still have your night to sleep. One thing that brings about this attitude is uncertainty. You can never guarantee anything in this life – success or failure.
However, which will you prefer? Trying and failing to achieve success or not trying at all and still not achieving anything? The fact that success is uncertain just like many things in life, it will be better if you try than regret when you see others succeeding in what you failed to try. The pain caused by regret is far more than the pain of trying and failing.
It’s a habit for most of us to run away from the things that bring us discomfort. We build our lives on the things that we feel comfortable with. We avoid anything that will make us not feel at ease. We define our life on the things that make us happy. We even go to the extend of using our mishaps as a reason for not trying out something new.
Some define their lives by their past while others hate their past. You can use your past to achieve success depending on whether you take your past as a stepping stone to your future or you see your past as everything that is causing you to still stand on one spot. If you think like the latter, then you are only building a foundation where you will carry your past and keep as your future. You will not achieve success.
In the next few weeks I’ll be sharing with you useful tips on some of the things you need to do to achieve success. Don’t forget to leave your comments below and subscribe to get more updates.
