5 Easy Ways You Can Turn Failures Into Success
Life is a journey of trials, failures and success. To succeed without failures is rare. What you should aways have in the back of your mind is that everyone fails in one way or the other. The experience in failing is crushing, but it’s either you face it or you go down with it.
I came to accept the fact that failure is a stepping stone to success after trying many times to be what I want. Today I am seeing that my failures were not just failures but a rare opportunity for me to learn what success is all about. Successful people become what they are because of the way they respond to their failures. Life is full of obstacles. Nothing really goes out successfully without obstacles. You alone have to decide whether to use these obstacles as an excuse for your failure or use them as a reason for your success. Successful people use them as a stepping stone to their success. In fact, you will want to use your failures as feedback of what you do.
To choose to be successful, you need to be ready to accept failures. That you have to acknowledge because it is fundamental part in achieving success. It’s not easy to accept it but as R.L. Adams said, “Your greatest failures are your biggest blessings.” I will share with you my experience on how I turned my failures into success.
1. Give up or Try Again
Did you really want it in the first place? Is it because we failed that we decided to change our goals? However, if you really don’t have a reason on why you want to succeed, then failure will be catastrophic. At times you just need to avoid it if you are not sure you really want to go into it in the first place.
On the other hand, if you have a strong enough reason to succeed, then failure won’t be an obstacle. You will be able to overcome anything that comes your way. This means you are suppose to come up with a good reason for succeeding in something. This is the first step in overcoming failure in what you do. With that believe, you will always have to try again because failure to you will just be feedback.
2. Passion and Inspiration
If you are passionate about something, any failure in it will never dissuade you from trying again. Passion comes along with inspiration. You will always find something to inspire you carry out your passion. This means you should always look for something that inspires you and keeps you going. You can read books about that thing, pin pictures, stare at things or places and so on. In fact you need to see, feel, breath, and live your passion. This will help you to avoid failure or able to overcome it if it comes your way.
3. Accept Mistakes and Learn from It
Many people curse themselves when they make mistakes. I also do that most often. However, I can overcome this because I don’t allow myself to be crushed by my mistakes. I try to learn from them as quick as possible. Successful people use their mistakes as a lesson learned. Once you learn to accept your mistakes, then you will know your failures are a potential for growth.
4. Don’t Procrastinate
That is one of my greatest weakness. It is the most prominent reason of my failures and I am doing my best to fight it. Procrastination holds you back from pursuing your plans. It is a silent killer that needs overcoming by all means. You can’t achieve success and accomplish your dreams without overcoming procrastination.

5. “The Fear of Failure is the Beginning of Failure”
I read the above line in this post 5 Amazing Music Business Ideas for Music Lovers
by Derick Sullivan Lobga. The greatest enemy of success is to be afraid of failure. Most of the times what keeps us from achieving our dreams is the fear of failure. Failure in itself is not bad, but the fear of failing is more dangerous. When you fail according to Derick, you are taking “the first step to success and the only thing that is worse than failure is by never trying at all”.
On another note, if your fear of doing nothing is more than the fear of failing, then you have actually taken a step to success. According to Derick, “failure is the first step to success and the only thing that is worse than failure is never trying at all.”
